Sweden Hostels

 
   
  STF is one of Sweden's largest voluntary organisations, with about 330 000 members. It operates 315 youth hostels, eight mountain stations, and about 40 mountain huts in remote countryside.
   
  Vare Youth Hostel - Varberg - Sweden. Situated in rural surroundings, our hostel can offer you a place to stay and have some nice rest during the travel through Halland on the Swedish west coast ,near sea and town. Youth hostel for singles and families 7 km south of Varberg and 3 km from the sea. Open all year. Contains photos and places of interest.
   
  Between Ystad och Simrishamn, 5 km from the sea with its fine white beaches, close to everything in Österlen, that's where you find our youth hostel. Calmly situated, with a large garden. We're situated in a former senior's home and is in our own corner of the town, with no bothersome traffic. We have a large garden where you can relax, have a cup of coffee or set up a barbecue. Rooms with kitchenettes and bathrooms. Most of our rooms have a bathroom of their own and a kitchenette with a water boiler. In some cases two rooms share a bathroom. Two rooms are rooms with several beds, and they have a bathroom out in the corridor. The building has four showers.
   
  Camping in Sweden. Come and experience the wonderful coast of Halland with its beautiful beaches on the "right side" of Sweden. Treat yourself and the family to a really pleasant and varied camping holiday on the billowy Kattegatt.

The camping site is situated 3 km from the centre of Falkenberg, a stone's throw from the sea.

The beautiful soft sand on the mile-long beach and the cooling salt water entice you to take a dip either early in the morning or in the evening. The beach is also very child-friendly.

There is a wide range of outdoor activities in the summer. Salmon fishing in the river Ätran or a round of golf at one of the many golf courses close by or why not visit Sweden's largest and cheapest department store in Ullared.

Using the campsite as a base, there are lots of places to visit in the vicinity. A day trip to Denmark by ferry or over the majestic Öresund Bridge, a whole day in Göteborg with a visit to Liseberg Amusement Park - a paradise for children - are just some of the options.
